HistoryThe Club Hotel, originally the Central Hotel at Sandy Creek was built in 1890. It was operated by Mr. John Vernon who resided there with his wife and three children. It was moved in 1906 from the south side of Sandy Creek where it was first established during its mining days, to its present site.
