The Toogoolawah Show Society was established in 1913 in partnership with Esk and was held in alternate years in each town. The war and depression interrupted this arrangement. For the 1949 show, which was opened by Dr D. A. Cameron, they had an attendance of 3000 with 1936 entries. The show continues to be held annually in Toogoolawah in June. The Show Society also hold an annual charity rodeo and a show ball.
