HistoryThe first hospital on the Ipswich side of Sandy Creek opened as a nursing home on 24th July 1907. The building was shifted to the present site in 1926 and modified to become the Esk Nursing Home, General Hospital and Maternity Home and was named the Stanley Memorial Hospital.
